At Promopack we take our responsibilities to the environmental seriously. With demands being made by consumers, government and pressure groups alike - we decided to take serious action... We have recently completed a programme to eliminate the use of solvent from our Platemaking process totally. We are the first repro house, servicing wide width flexo market, in the UK to do this. In doing this we have eliminated the emissions of ozone depleting gasses to atmosphere, reduced our energy consumption and ceased depositing substantial quantities of hazardous waste to landfill.
